The world does not revolve are Corona and Heineken people. I shouldn't have to say it but Bud or Coors either. When you walk into your local wine shop there is this uncharted territory with candy store like appeal. This section is the IPA and micro brewery section. Most ignore these because of the lack of multi-million dollar add campaigns. Most never try these because off fear honestly. Stick to what you know and you cant go wrong is a stagnant state of mind.




So allow me to introduce Arrogant Bastard Ale brewed by Stone Brewing Company. This is an American brewing company located in San Diego County California. Sorry Anheuser your not the king. Arrogant Bastard may be Stone Brewing most popular brew. It is my favorite out of the popular line up of more than 10 beers.



Arrogant Bastard is an aggressive beer.Served in a 22oz. bottle with an alcohol content of over 7%. The bottle is labeled with an intimidating gargoyle etched in the glass. Gargoyles are meant to scare people away and it works. Ive seen people not want to drink this ale because of the gargoyle. As if that isn't enough the bottle also warns that you are not ready and should maybe put this beer down. This ale is very hoppy,a bit bitter and the color of tortoise shell versace shades. Yeah stay with me now. This beer makes a cold corona taste flat. But be warned if your a mild cigar smoker this beer will eat that Macanudo alive and leave it in the ashtray for dead.
