Luxe Quick Tip: Proffessional House Guest Etiquette

Today I have a meeting in my home with my Financial Advisor. This person is a professional and about business. He is not my friend here to kick his shoes off and channel surf. If we were in his office I would expect a certain atmosphere. When you agree to meet in your home try and provide the same.

Most likely your time will be spent in one area, living room, dining room or kitchen. Or home office if you are so blessed to have one. Make sure that area is clean, comfortable and quiet. Another common area is the bathroom. Again this is not your friend who doesn't care about the overflowing trash in the bathroom. A complete tour of the home is absolutely unnecessary. Focus on these areas.

When someone comes to your home on business they may visit 3-5 homes per day. They may not want to drink out of everyones glasses or plastic cups. Do not offer tap water ever. Have bottled water chilled. I have Fiji. If they don't like Fiji then the water will sit there until it gets warm. Don't offer to many selections, maybe soda or juice. Never alcohol this is not a party. Being polite works both ways.

Also turn off the T.V. and radio. Off! Don't mute B.E.T. turn it off and focus. Its his time and your money. Luxe. Anything I may have left out please voice your opinion.
